Communications crafted with style and thought

We are often asked how we chose our name, Twistnshout. Well, the original idea was that we design with a twist and we shout your message. We still do that. Logos, brochures, websites and annual reports are just a few of the things we produce. We also do social media, e-mail marketing, communications consulting, writing and focus groups. Nonprofits and small businesses come to us for personal attention, our collaborative spirit, creativity and smart thinking. We love to learn about our clients’ amazing work and help them achieve their goals.

  • “Amy Pollack understood our mission from the start. She joined us in brainstorming ideas for our campaign, and brought expert advice to the process. Moreover, Amy presented us with several design options, conceptualizing ideas beyond the scope we discussed. The decision-making process was easy thanks to her design sensibilities and attention to detail. As with any social media campaign, our project evolved with each post. Amy was accommodating. She was quick to respond to our emails and calls, and she always delivered content on time, if not ahead of schedule. I look forward to working with Amy on future projects.”

    Senior Assistant Dean, Interactive Communications

  • “Amy Pollack created a logo for us that is truly invaluable. When I contacted Amy, we had just launched a brand new networking group, FUSE, working to bring urban and suburban community groups together, and we needed a “face.” Nothing we considered seemed to truly encapsulate who we are and what we are trying to do. Amy and I spoke at length about the group and its mission, and she then created something brilliant, beautiful, and incredibly poignant. She took the time to really understand us, and produced a symbol that crystalized our purpose and has helped us create a unique and special brand. Our logo is a big part of who we are, and it is all thanks to Amy Pollack and TwistnShout.”

    Rabbi Jeremy Gerber
    Congregation Ohev Shalom, FUSE

  • “Amy Pollack is an artist who can translate words and images into a masterpiece. She is a designer who captures an idea and creates inspiration. She is a leader in her field because she is a professional partner who makes every project better than you ever imagined. I can’t wait to work with her again.”

    Rabbi Charles E. Savenor
    Past Director of Kehilla Enrichment
    United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism

  • “What a blessing it was to have the experienced, creative and caring work of Amy Pollack of TwistnShout in designing and launching the logo for Music on the Inside, Inc. We’re very proud of it and get many compliments. She was always available and responsive to our needs and also extremely generous with advice about our website and other ways to promote our mission to provide music education and mentorships to incarcerated young people. I continue to recommend her to business friends and other nonprofits wanting the caring attention of a real professional for their projects.”

    Alina Bloomgarden
Founder, Music on the Inside, Inc.

  • “Amy Pollack has been making the philanthropic work I’m engaged in look fabulous for over 15 years, first at the Brandywine Health Foundation, and now at The Foundation for Delaware County. When we launched this new community foundation, she and her team provided several services, all of which were done in a professional, creative, and timely fashion. We work with Amy for her beautiful design sensibilities and creativity, but she brings so much more to the table – particularly, her understanding of communications strategy. Time and again, her affinity for the nonprofit and social change communities leads her to see the most persuasive message we should be communicating before we fully understand it internally.”

    Frances Sheehan
President, The Foundation for Delaware County

  • “Amy Pollack has been the lead designer for the Brandywine Health Foundation since 2001 and Twistnshout is the first company we turn to for fresh, creative design. Amy has worked on our branding, annual reports, invitations, ads and signage as well as social media campaigns surrounding our annual appeal and messaging. Because she understands our mission, evolving needs, staff and stakeholders, she consistently produces material that advances our mission, encourages support and accomplishes our goals. Amy understands our vision and messaging needs even when we don’t articulate them well. She listens carefully, interprets our thinking and shares ideas and examples. Amy’s process is collaborative. She makes constructive changes until everyone is pleased. I trust Amy’s judgment 100% and she has never steered us wrong.”
